As there is so much poor advice getting given for it, there are lots of cases of this condition not getting better, hence the field is fertile ground for snake oil salesperson trying to sell the next greatest solution for plantar fasciitis.
Exactly what is plantar fasciitis? It is in the beginning an inflammation of the plantar fascia that is a long ligament that connects the heel bone to the ball of the foot. After that first inflammatory period, it then turns into a degenerative process.
